Shannon was just telling me that her new boyfriend (who is also an old friend of hers) feels as though they are destined to be together. He was living with his girlfriend (in a very unhappy relationship) when a twist of fate brought Shannon to his door. He says they are soulmates because she rescued him from Hell. They’ve been inseparable ever since. She’s not my favorite person in the world, but I can’t help but be happy for them.
